COVID-19 update 24th March
COVID-19
(Coronavirus Outbreak – 2020)
Update
to My Newsletter Dated 10th March 2020
My first Newsletter stated:
- If you are told to isolate or you decide to self-isolate, please inform the porters immediately by PHONE ONLY
- DO NOT GO TO RECEPTION
- If you have a grocery delivery, we will encourage the delivery person to deliver your groceries to your door
- All other deliveries will be taken to your door by the porters
THESE RULES STILL APPLY.
Following my Newsletter, the Board have written
three risk plans as the situation has changed in the last 2 weeks. We have
written to our staff and provided them with “essential Worker” letters during
the London Lockdown. Currently we are two porters self-isolating due to
underlying health issues. Chris is closely managing the situation so that we can
still maintain 24-hour security and fire watch, which is our priority for your
safety. We are taking extreme measures in protecting our staff from this Virus
by trying to source protective gloves, clothing, disinfectant and hand
sanitiser. If you know how we can source gloves and hand sanitiser, please let Chris
know.
We have erected additional barriers at reception to protect
our staff from delivery people and the residents of Hooper Square. PLEASE
COMPLY WITH OUR NEW PRODEDURES AS IT PROTECTS THE WHOLE ESTATE.
Sally and Dennis must be onsite due to Health and
Safety issues the Board of HSRAL must comply with. They are daily cleaning all
surfaces however please keep washing your hands with soap and water.
So, your help is vital in the stage of the virus.
Please keep your distance from our staff. Comply with the rules above. Try and
keep the bins tidy.
Some of you want to start a volunteering service on
the Estate. In the coming days, we will set up an electronic noticeboard.
Hi everyone, this is Dmitry and Bethany from 39 Back Church Lane. If you need any help at Hooper Square, please feel free to message us on 07969283405.
